1 - Piedras de Chocolate - One of the moms in my playgroup brought these to mom’s happy hour a couple of weeks ago, and we have been eating them non stop. It’s an almond covered in about a quarter inch of delicious chocolate and it’s the most amazing thing. Just a couple will leave you completely satisfied. Pick them up at Kroger in the Murray’s Cheese section!
2 - Fresh Market Little Big Meal - Each week Fresh Market has a Little Big Meal special - $20 for a quick to prepare, delicious meal. This week’s meal was a big hit - Crab Cake Sandwiches! Check it out. Some weeks are better than others, but we usually can get at least 2 days worth of meals from it and it’s always good.
3 - Four Weddings and a Funeral on Hulu - I just started this new series on Hulu Wednesday. It’s not amazing, it’s not awful, but I’m really enjoying having a light, rom-com type show I can have on while I’m working on businessy things at night.
4 - Magnetic Cabinet Locks - Last Sunday we finally got around to fully baby proofing around the house, and I am loving these magnetic cabinet locks! Now if only we could find a way to keep Teddy out of the dog food…suggestions?
5 - Alabama Shakes - I LOVE having music on all the time at our house. End of summer just puts me in an Alabama Shakes mood. I’m hoping they’ll go back on tour soon - they’re one of those bands I’d love to see in person!
